Iron Infusion Therapy

Clinically Guided. Patient-Centered.

Restore Your Energy, Revive Your Vitality

If you're struggling with persistent fatigue, shortness of breath, or unexplained weakness, low iron levels may be the cause. Iron deficiency can significantly impact your overall well-being, but there’s a safe, effective solution: Iron Infusion Therapy.

At Anara, we offer medically supervised iron infusions to help restore healthy iron levels quickly and efficiently, especially when oral supplements aren’t effective or tolerated.

What Is an Iron Infusion?

Iron infusions deliver iron directly into your bloodstream through an IV drip. This allows your body to absorb the iron more quickly and efficiently compared to oral supplements, making it ideal for individuals who:

Have moderate to severe iron deficiency anemia
Can’t tolerate oral iron due to digestive issues
Have conditions that affect iron absorption (e.g., Crohn’s, celiac disease)
Are preparing for or recovering from surgery
Are pregnant or postpartum with low iron levels

Benefits of Iron Infusion Therapy

Rapid improvement in energy and stamina
Fewer gastrointestinal side effects than oral iron
Boosted immune function and mental clarity
Safe and effective under medical supervision

Most patients begin to feel noticeable improvements in their symptoms within a few days to a week after treatment.

What to Expect

Initial Consultation: We’ll assess your symptoms, medical history, and recent blood work to determine if an iron infusion is appropriate for you.

Prescription Fulfillment & Delivery: If you have a prescription from your medical provider, you can fill it through Scripts Pharmacy and have your iron infusion medication delivered directly to our clinic for your appointment.

There are two iron infusion options available: Venofer and Monofer.
The most appropriate choice for your treatment will be determined during your consultation, based on your medical history, lab results, and individual health goals.

Venofer| Iron sucrose
Dosing Frequency - Multiple smaller doses (e.g. weekly)
Total Treatment Time - Requires multiple sessions
Convenience - More appointments, smaller doses

Monofer| Ferric derisomaltose

Dosing Frequency - Usually one high-dose infusion
Total Treatment Time - Often completed in 1–2 sessions
Convenience - Fewer appointments, higher dose at once

Which One Is Right for You?

Both Venofer and Monofer are safe and effective. The best option will depend on:

Your iron levels and lab results
Tolerance of past iron treatments
How quickly do you need replenishment
Underlying health conditions
Insurance coverage or cost considerations

We will help you decide which infusion is best suited to your health needs during your consultation.

Follow-Up: Depending on your needs, we may recommend additional infusions or monitor your levels with routine blood work.

Consultation Fee with licensed practitioner: $25 - $50 (will go towards Infusion Fee)

Infusion Fee: $150 - $225

Please note: The cost of the medication is not included in the infusion service and must be filled separately through your pharmacy (e.g., Scripts Pharmacy) and delivered to the clinic before your appointment.
